Dennis Shepherd started his passion for handcraft jewelry in 1984. Originally working in the professional photography industry, he would take breaks from work digging up rocks and stones and turning them into jewelry. Over time, he realized that making jewelry was a meditative exercise that brought him more joy than working in the professional industries.
He makes all of his pieces in his beautiful home in the Siuslaw River Shed, surrounded by nature that helps him focus on his passion.
No two pieces are the same, and every piece is made without preconceived ideas or notions. He follows his heart, mind, and soul and pours them into his art.
